Snapshots from an afternoon walk.
These pictures were all taken on the same day between 4 and 6 pm during a walk through Arembepe, Brazil in 2018 on an expired black and white film. Arembepe is a small fisherman village and this project attempts to capture its essence: from boundless fields to river banks, to dark alleyways and gated communities. Space becomes a place when it is lived, and here the contrasts of Bahian landscapes come alive.
Camera: Voigtlander vitoret
